The LWVSPA Gun Safety Action Team has decided to disband for at least the next 10 months and, as individuals, focus our attention and energy on the 2020 Election. We believe that the fundamentals of our democracy are at risk and that we must focus on issues like voting rights, registration and election protection, core work of the League of Women Voters.
Voting is the most important thing we can each do right now. Supporting the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area through joining or donating will allow us to do more.
We’ve redesigned our Gun Safety Action Guide so that you can independently stay informed and take action on gun safety. Thanks for reading.
